Things have been fairly clam around, since that incident with the newest member of the household she has learned to control herself just a little better. She hasn't gotten in my hair lately.

Meetings after meetings in the senate, it's a wonder how Caesar puts up with such nonsense from old coots. I'm even more surprised that I am placed in council during the debates for my own voice to be heard. Honestly I don't see the need, I know how to do one thing and one thing alone. Shed the blood of those who would seek to kill me. My enemies.

The smell is amazing out in the garden after a heavy rain fall,  I think I will take some time to myself this afternoon and relax my nerves a little.

Just hope no one bothers me, I'm in a mood again, it wont be pretty.

1/6/08 12:03 pm - 001: Year 47; Julius Caesar returning from Egypt.

When I think back on to what my life was like before I was taken in by the priestess's, if they had not seen the birthmark I try and hide, not successfully mind you, under the heavy brass of my helmet I often wonder if it had not been for my strange features odd social disabilities that I sit here riding side by side with the greatest man of the age. His empire stretching to the far reaches of the world that he had created crushing all who get in his way, with my help. I am only 18, a man by all means of the word but one, as Marc Antony is so gracious to point out, in the presents of others no less. I have the notion to slit his throat in his sleep for his insults in front of the men.

It has been a long haul from the searing desert sun of Egypt, a place where I strangely felt at ease in the calming warm air and the heat of the fine grains of sand between my toes, but it was not home. Home, after being away for nearly 5 years or the 8 year  war in Gaul we set on yet another task to the East to hunt and kill that traitorous dog, Pompei Magnus. I will praise the day we finally set foot through the magnificent walls of the fine city that is Rome, with a triumph fit for Caesar he so rightly deserves.

Hail Gaius Julius Caesar. His fortunes he says are from the brand of luck granted by the Gods I was said to hold which is why he keeps me so close , but I am hardly one to take credit for his glorious reign.

Hail Gaius Julius Caesar. Welcome all! Gaara here if you wish to just drop a line and say hello, I'm pretty much always around. Except when I'm at work, hanging with the wife, playing FFXI, RPing... or... just trust me you'll catch me at some point. I encourage everyone to relax and have fun with this, I would tell the initial reason why I thought of this comm but.... I can tell you... it's just a guy thing....
